Michael Burlingame

Michael Burlingame is a historian and one of the foremost scholars of Abraham Lincoln, best known for his multivolume biography 'Abraham Lincoln: A Life.' He holds the Chancellor Naomi B. Lynn Distinguished Chair in Lincoln Studies at the University of Illinois Springfield. He contributed a piece to The Weekly Standard reflecting his deep expertise in Lincoln-era history.
