Kenneth Marcus is a civil rights policy scholar and legal commentator who has focused on issues of discrimination and civil rights law. He contributed to The Weekly Standard in 2009, writing on civil rights policy. He formerly served as Staff Director of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and later led the Office for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Education.
