Irwin Cotler is a Canadian human rights lawyer, legal scholar, and former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada. A longtime advocate for political prisoners and international human rights, he contributed to The Weekly Standard on the struggle for human rights in Iran. He is also a former member of the Canadian Parliament and founder of the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights.
