David Mason

David Mason is an American poet, literary critic, and professor known for his work in both formal and narrative poetry. He contributed essays and criticism to The Weekly Standard during 2003–2004, writing on poetic form and notable poets such as Anthony Hecht. He is the author of several acclaimed poetry collections and has served as Colorado's poet laureate.
