President Barack Obama has no plans to meet with either the president of Iran at the United Nations in New York next week nor with House Republican leaders on the budget negotiations. That's according to a pool report from the White House press corps on a conversation with deputy press secretary Josh Earnest:

Is the president going to meet with his Iranian counterpart at the U.N.? “I don’t have any specific meetings to read out to you,” [Earnest] said. At this point, there’s no meeting on the president’s schedule. Obama will do a number of meetings in New York, he said. More details will come in this afternoon’s conference call about the U.N. trip. Earnest said he would not preview any negotiations about sanctions against Iran. He said it was clear that the reason the Iranians are willing to work with the international community is because the international community is united in the belief that the regime needs to fulfill its obligations when it comes to their nuclear program.

White House press secretary Jay Carney  confirmed Thursday that President Obama was leaving "open" the possibility of meeting with the Iranian president, Hassad Rouhani.

And later in the report:

Earnest was asked whether Obama planned to meet with House and Senate leaders next week regarding the budget. Earnest said he had no meetings to announce “at this point,” but he added, “I do think you can expect that the president will have conversations with congressional leaders in the days ahead.” Asked whether he’s had any conversations this week with congressional leaders about the CR and debt ceiling, Earnest said, “I don’t have any conversations to read out right now.”

The president has been adamant about not negotiating with House Republicans in the debate over raising the debt limit.
