Time magazine's Mark Halperin reports that his colleague Jay Carney, the mag's Washington bureau chief, will be director of communications for vice president-elect Joe Biden. I would normally be inclined to make a snarky comment about the Obama administration/mainstream media revolving door, but now is not the time for that. Carney is going to need all the support he can get. I hear doing damage control for Biden is like cleaning the Augean stables.
