Barack Obama graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School. For those of you completely unfamiliar with Latin, "magna cum laude" in this context translates into "he had really good grades." Joe Biden, on the other hand, graduated 76th in a class of 85 from the University of Syracuse Law School. While Biden can still brag that his official class rank shows he came in the top 90% of his class (and he probably does make such a boast frequently), his presence on the ticket could offset Obama's growing reputation as a nerdy know-it-all. By adding a dullard know-it-all to the ticket, Obama will achieve perfect balance.
