Last night's CNN / YouTube GOP presidential debate has occasioned many fine letters to the editor. Here's my favorite, from a reader in Cedar Rapids, Iowa:
My big question is how come the GOP candidates did not know that this was [bad] idea in advance? It took me exactly 20 seconds after the start of the 'debate' to realize this. Are they that out of touch with the Internet? Thank God that HBO had 'Inside the NFL' on. As a Green Bay Packer season ticket holder I was able to hear about my team's trip to Dallas Thursday and purge my mind of CNN's rancid aftertaste.
To answer your question, dear reader: Yes, the candidates probably are that out of touch with the Internet.
