Appearing on Good Morning America today, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said he didn't support the current Democratic health care bills, even though he supports reform in principle. He also cautioned that a deal on health care shouldn't be more important than the content. (The White House apparently disagrees.) Schwarzenegger's comments are striking because they signify that moderate-to-liberal Republicans are holding in opposition to the current legislation. Meaning, if just one moderate-to-conservative senate Democrat opposes a deal, the entire effort may collapse.
