The AP reports:

The chairman of the Iowa Republican party says former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has won the Iowa caucuses by eight votes. Chairman Matt Strawn made the announcement of the razor-thin margin from Des Moines. Romney narrowly edged out former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum. Strawn says Romney got 30,015 votes and Santorum received 30,007 votes. That is a margin of eight votes.
