The downside of this Nobel Prize for Obama-the mother of all stereotype reinforcements-is that we've now reached the point where RNC press releases sound remarkably like mainstream news commentary instead of political P.R.:
"The real question Americans are asking is, ‘What has President Obama actually accomplished?' It is unfortunate that the president's star power has outshined tireless advocates who have made real achievements working towards peace and human rights. One thing is certain - President Obama won't be receiving any awards from Americans for job creation, fiscal responsibility, or backing up rhetoric with concrete action."
When Michael Steele, Ezra Klein, and Mark Halperin are united in the same incredulous, critical tone about an Obama news story, he's got a problem.
