President Obama will address the nation tonight at 8 p.m. EST. But before his speech on ISIS, Obama is meeting at the White House with a slew of celebrities as part of the Kennedy Center Honors Reception.

Pool was ushered into the East Room at 4:45 pm. The room is decorated for Christmas with four large trees[.] Spotted in the East Room by fellow reporters who are far better at celebrity identification than your pooler: Steven Spielberg, Stephen Colbert, Tyler Perry, Julie Andrews, Kerry Washington, Lin Manuel Miranda, Martin Scorsese, Herbie Hancock, Janelle Monae, Rosie Perez. Also: John Kerry, Ash Carter, Nancy Pelosi, Loretta Lynch in attendance. Carter, Pelosi and Kerry spotted deep in conversation. The event is described as such on the president's schedule. "President and the First Lady will host the Kennedy Center Honorees Reception in the East Room."
