In Beaver, Pennsylvania, President Obama's bus tour stopped off at Kretchmar's Bakery, which is "a three-generation establishment on the community’s main drag," according to the press pool report.

While in the bakery, President Obama offered the press cookies. From the pool report:

“We’re close to the Fourth of July, don’t you think apple pie is appropriate,” POTUS asked Kretchmar. “I really do. Let me get a classic apple pie.” “Maybe I’ll get some cookies,” POTUS added. “Press, do you want some cookies?” There was no response from the press. “Will you consider this a bribe once again?” he queried. “Why don’t we get a dozen chocolate chip cookies and send them on the press bus, and I won’t know if you guys ate them, all right? I know the photographers will eat them. Those guys have no shame. You know that’s right.”

Obama exited with his goods and left behind a nice tip:

At 12:56 p.m. the pool was ushered back out to the street. At 1:03 p.m. POTUS emerged carrying a yellow plastic bag which, cashier Dee Meers later told your pooler, contained the aforementioned apple pie and cookies. POTUS paid$13.20, using a $20 bill and telling Meers to keep the change as a tip, she said.
