New Senate Polls: Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Colorado, and Illinois

In Pennsylvania, the Morning Call/Muhlenberg daily tracking poll gave Republicans quite a scare last week when it showed Joe Sestak leading Pat Toomey 44% to 41%, but now, following the debates, the same poll shows Toomey back on top 47% to 42%. In the RealClearPolitics average of polls, Toomey leads Sestak by 2.5%.

In Colorado, SurveyUSA shows Republican Ken Buck and Democratic senator Michael Bennet dead even at 47%--and Public Policy Polling finds the exact same results. Buck leads Bennet by 1 point in the RCP average.

In  Connecticut, Rasmussen shows Democrat Dick Blumenthal pulling away from Republican Linda McMahon-- 56% to 43%. Two weeks ago, Rasmussen put Blumenthal's lead at just five points. Blumenthal has a  12.3% lead in the RCP average of polls.

In Illinois, a Chicago Tribune poll shows Republican Mark Kirk leading Democrat Alexi Giannoulias  44% to 41%. Kirk leads Giannoulias by  2.8% according to RCP.
