The latest CNN poll finds 61 percent of respondents against the Reid plan, Republicans neck-and-neck with Democrats when it comes to which party the public would like to see in control of Congress, and large majorities thinking that health care reform will raise taxes and the deficit. What's interesting is that the one component of the Democrats' plan that polls well, the public option, receives majority support in a CNN survey released the day that Democrats abandon such a "robust" option.
