Remember when Obama agreed in theory to a "series" of town halls across the country? Then he wanted it to be Lincoln-Douglas style, so he could take advantage of a teleprompter and his less than fastidious command of public policy? Well, now Obama is proposing only a single town hall. So much for the Obama campaign thinking that a side-by-side comparison of their candidate with John McCain would emphasize their candidate's strengths.
