Stop the presses! Today comes word that Paul Weyrich has endorsed Mitt "Agent of Change" Romney. Says Hot Air: "This one strikes me as a big deal." Me too. As His Eminence noted last week, the Romney campaign appeared to have found its footing by abandoning its quest to be seen as the Authentic Conservative campaign and re-branding the candidate as a vigorous, capable executive who solves problems. (See the "Business World" spot here.) Now comes the Weyrich endorsement, which seems more of a piece with the old New Mitt. Which may be a problem.
