The New York Times follows Joe Biden to his hometown:
"I give you my word as a Biden," [Biden] said, "if [Obama] grew up in my neighborhood as he did in Kansas being raised by his grandparents, he'd be our friend, he'd cover our back. That's Barack Obama." (Actually, Mr. Obama was raised by his mother and grandparents in Hawaii and Indonesia; his mother was born in Kansas.)
