Daveed Gartenstein-Ross, who frequently contributes to THE WEEKLY STANDARD, released his first book today, a memoir of his conversion to Islam and his subsequent radicalization and involvement with a group of American-based jihadists. I've not had the chance to read the book yet, though I've spoken to Daveed at length about his fascinating journey to jihad and back. He's one of the good guys now, and frequently posts news and analysis from the war on terror at the Counterterrorism Blog.
