All four members of Arkansas's delegation to the U.S. House of Representatives have signed a letter to President Obama urging the federal government to restrict travel into the country from African nations affected by the Ebola virus outbreak.

"We urge you to consider and implement travel restrictions, up to and including a ban on flights from the affected countries," reads the letter. "Further, we urge you to enforce immigration policies under current law to protect our borders and the American people from the threat posed by this virulent disease."

Signing the letter are the four Republicans in the House from Arkansas: Tom Cotton, Rick Crawford, Tim Griffin, and Steve Womack. The congressmen cite a section of the Immigration and Nationality Act that "sets forth health-related grounds on which aliens should be considered ineligible for visas or admission to the U.S."
