The Washington Post runs a front page story today on Holder's confirmation as attorney general, which the paper headlines "a chance to right racial wrongs." Included in the piece is this description of Holder's responsibilities:

Holder will oversee civil rights enforcement, crime prevention and racial justice -- issues with a broad impact and audience -- among many competing priorities in an agency that also plays a central role in fighting terrorism and policing corporate abuse.

The Department of Justice does not, in fact, have a racial justice division.
