So here's another way to look at the amazing rise in Microsoft (MSFT) over the last few weeks. Today, the stock rose $1.24, to $36.81. That made it a nice day indeed for noneother than Chairman of the Geeks Bill Gates. Gates owns 877.5 million shares of MSFT. Ergo, since he rolled out of bed this morning, the value of his position went up by $1.088 billion.
Could someone please remind me why I went into journalism?
