Last night, our favorite Alabama Agriculture Commissioner candidate Dale Peterson lost, coming in third place and failing to advance to a run-off election.
This morning, pundits and bloggers everywhere are struggling to come to terms with the fact that a really flippin' sweet YouTube ad cannot guarantee victory. It's a " damn outrage," to be sure.
But don't count Peterson out just yet. After all, Abraham Lincoln, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama all suffered electoral defeats before winning the presidency.
