Perhaps it's a bit early to get one's hopes up for a 2010 backlash against the Democrats. Still, one can't help but notice that Republicans are seeing many of glimmers of hope for their 2010 Senate prospects in Colorado, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Connecticut, Delaware, and Kentucky. Granted, Republicans are playing defense in half of those states, but keep in mind that these stories precede the Democrats' having to actually vote on a Medicare-like plan for all Americans and a multi-thousand dollar per family energy tax.
