September 11, 2001, has not been mentioned in any of Giuliani's ads, in fact. And yet plenty of people still say Giuliani is basing his campaign rhetoric on nouns, verbs, and 9/11. That's just not the case. Those people seem to forget that Giuliani wanted to be president before 9/11 even happened - that day is an important part of his legacy, to be sure, but it's a part that, for whatever reason, candidate Giuliani seems to talk about less than his opponents do.
