The only other candidate whose unfavorable rating is close to Trump's is Hillary Clinton: 49 percent of Americans view her unfavorably, and 43 percent view her favorably.
Yesterday, a poll released by Quinnipiac showed Clinton trailing Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, and Chris Christie in hypothetical head-to-head matchups. The only Republican losing to Clinton was Trump.
The new Gallup poll shows that Ben Carson has the highest net-favorable rating (42 percent favorable, 21 percent unfavorable) among all presidential candidates.
