A Senate GOP aide responds to today's jobs report:
The administration’s Romer/Bernstein report last year predicted that unless there was a stimulus bill, unemployment would continue to increase over the last year, level off by now and would begin to drop by the third quarter. Well, the unemployment rate grew by two points, leveled off at 9.7 for three months, and the administration claims job growth will return in the second half. So I guess the question is, if job growth is acting almost exactly like they predicted it would WITHOUT the trillion-dollar stimulus…
