Dino Rossi will in fact make a bid for Senate, several media outlets are reporting. Rossi has long been rumored to be considering a run and will reportedly make his intentions known publicly as soon as Wednesday.
A recent Rasmussen poll showed Rossi trailing Murray by just two points, 48% to 46%. Rossi's entry makes Washington, the 10th potential pickup opportunity for the GOP according to Nate Silver's chart, much more competitive:

I think the GOP may also have a decent shot of picking up a seat in Wisconsin, where Russ Feingold's poll numbers are under 50%.
So if everything--or almost everything--falls into place for Republicans, they could win a majority in the Senate in November.
