As Samantha noted earlier today, Barack Obama doesn't seem too concerned about the rise in the price of gasoline. Apparently the presumptive nominee's brethren in Congress don't either. After nearly two years in power, the House majority appears more interested in toeing the line of environmental interest groups than lowering gas prices. Failure to enact policies that increase domestic supplies are one of the main culprits underlying today's sky-high energy prices. Starting today, congressional Republicans will posting information like this to inform Americans about the implications of Democratic pandering. Policies have consequences. And the House Democrats' protection of the environmental lobby causes the rest of us to pay higher gas prices.
