A tip of The Scrapbook homburg to our friend Michael Ramirez, whose dazzling cartoons grace this section every week. Michael, a two-time Pulitzer winner, has added to his laurels by winning first place in the National Headliner Awards contest this year for editorial cartoons. We’re very proud of him—doubly so because his award portfolio included two cartoons that debuted in The Scrapbook. One of them, which we’ve reproduced above first appeared in our March 20, 2017, issue, though honestly it remains timely almost any week of the year.
