For political junkies, the Republicans are making this the greatest season in years: Three primaries, three victors. And, as Giuliani showed, the national polls are little help when the money and the adoring news features dry up after local elections: To lead everywhere is not necessarily to lead anywhere. That bodes ill for McCain, ahead now in the national polls, doesn't it?
