Fred Barnes writes in with a preview of this week's Beltway Boys:
The Hot Story: One on one. The presidential campaigns now feature Barack Obama versus Hillary Clinton on the Democratic side, Mitt Romney against Rudy Giuliani on the Republican. Who's prevailing? For the moment, it's Hillary and Rudy. Meanwhile, Al Gore gets an 'up' arrow for winning the Nobel Peace Prize, though his crusade against global warming has nothing to do with peace. The presidential primary system gets whacked with a 'down' arrow for scheduling too many primaries, too soon, and cheating voters of enough time to evaluate candidates. And congressional Democrats also earn a 'down' arrow for failing to achieve their plans to end the war in Iraq - and now they are giving up. Plus Fox's chief political correspondent, Carl Cameron, makes an appearance to dissect Fred Thompson's presidential campaign.
You can watch the Beltway Boys each weekend on the Fox News Channel, Saturdays at 6 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. EST, and Sundays at 6 a.m. EST.
