The music is sad...because the Democrats are ruining the country. According to Greg Sargent, the "footage of Franken is actually of him delivering a tribute to the late Minnesota Senator Paul Wellstone." Sargent suggests this is problematic because Republicans were beat up for using the same footage of Franken during the campaign. But since the audience for this ad is national, and since Franken is now a national embarrassment, the Wellstone defense isn't gonna fly.
