You can get your t-shirt here. I'm pretty excited for the new season, and have been watching reruns in HD all week in anticipation. I try and keep the geek blogging to a minimum here, but the lack of TV the last few months has finally started to get to me. And it prompts another question I think is worth raising. How much of the increased interest in the 2008 election is a result of the TV writer's strike? Do we really think people would have watched all these debates (which pushed CNN ahead of Fox News in the rating for the first time in as long as I can remember) if there had been anything else to watch on TV? The Democrats' version of The Biggest Loser was about the only game in town for months. One wonders if this didn't contribute, in some small part, to the record turnout in the Dem primaries. Maybe it's a stretch, but it's a theory. And since Glenn asked, Starbuck has to be a Cylon--toss her out the airlock! JVL adds: Adama is a great man and a fine military leader, but I'm not sure he's cold-blooded enough for the troubled times we live in now. Perhaps the Roslin-Airlock '08 ticket is best. We know she'll take that call at 3:00 a.m.
